So, I know that I'm a horrible blogger, but there has been some things that have taken place which has made me not really want to blog. Here are some updates:
School is officially over! (with students)
Training for our math text book is in session (for 5 days). It's so boring, but on the bright side, they pay us $500 for coming in over our summer vacation. So I can't complain too much.
I am working out like crazy now. 2 hours a day/5 days a week. Swimming for an hour and than an aerobic class for an hour. (I must be insane) However, Hawaii is coming in less than 2 months and I have to look good in my bathing suit. =)
The dogs are still up to being mischievious all of the time; getting into trouble and terrorizing each other, but they have fun and love eachother.
David started summer school last night. He is getting his prerequisites done for nursing school.

Hammer Wedding
On April 18, 2009, my family went to Jimmy Hammer's wedding. We grew up with Jimmy and now it's crazy to think that he's a married man now. I still remember when him and my brother used to play in the bathtub together at 1 & 2 years old and now he's all grown up. How fast times flies by. Well here are a few shots I took of the happy couple. Sometimes I think that I want to get into photography; maybe one day.

Happy Easter!
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter and remember how awesome the Lord is, for all He has done for us.
Today, I was busy in the kitchen cooking and baking for Easter tomorrow at my parents house. I was in charge of deviled eggs and dessert. The deviled eggs were a piece of cake and the dessert, well, took me quite some time; I did however manage to finish and they look awesome. I think I found my second calling. HAHAHA!!!

These are my bunnies jumping into their holes in the grass. Aren't they cute?
This last week David and I got to go to several Angels games. What a great time. We are still continuing to pray for the three families (Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry ?) Please keep them in your prayers as they were hit by and drunk driver early Thursday morning. What a traggic accident this was. I also pray that they knew the Lord and this opens up the eyes of the people of this world and how horrible it is to drink and drive.

Terrific/Terrible Thursday
So today my day started out great. Slept in till 10:30a.m., hung out around the house for a couple of hours, went to lunch with Amanda and Danika, went to Walmart and get a few things we needed. Sounds great!!! That's when it happened.
I was walking towards the bathroom and I saw one of my parents old friends from Bryant Street Baptist. We got to talking and then she looked at me and said, "Are you pregnant?" I about died. I told her no and she said she was sorry and also said, "I guess it's the look now-a-days" So I guess that my look is that I look pregnant.
Needless to say, I'm working out hard at the gym tomorrow. Hahaha!!!
Have a great Friday everyone.

Spring Break
So I have been a complete slacker at blogging. With all the junk that has been going on, I haven't been motivated to blog. So here's the update:
Spring Break officially started on Friday, March 27th at 3:05. I have two weeks off. No plans, so let me know if you want to hang out.
I've been swimming in the mornings with my friend, Bonnie, from 6-7 a.m. I'm so proud of myself. I feel so much better and motivated to go now.
Thyroid - My prescription was a little too strong, so they lowered the dose and the doctor said I will only have to get checked once a year now, to monitor my thyroid. (HOORAY!!!)
School - My 5th/6th grade class is wonderful. I can't believe that the school year is close upon us. It has gone by so fast. During the week of May 18-21, I get to go to science camp with my 5th graders. I'm really excited.
School - I start back to Cal Sate San Bernardino on April 9th to finish my secondary credential in math. Only one class and a test.
Continuing to seek and follow after the Lord in the job situation. I know He is going to take care of us. Just doing what I feel HE is telling me to do.
That's all for now. Everyone is healthy and doing great.

Graves' Disease is in the Grave!!!
So as most of you know, I had been diagnosed with Graves' Disease last August. In October of 2008 I took radioactive iodine to shrink my overactive thyroid. After many prayers, God has completely gotten rid of my Graves' Disease. I am now hypothyroid and started taking this little pill once a day. The doctor said that it flipped really fast. God truly is a miracle worker. Although I'm not liking the side affects: (mainly gaining weight). I would much rather have hypo than hyperthyroidism. I will continue taking my pill once a day for the rest of my life. Now we just wait to see if the medication is the correct dose for my body and then once it is stabalized, I will only have to go to the doctors once a year for my annual check-up, unless I become pregnant and then they monitor you throughout the duration of the pregnancy and couple months afterwards. It is totally fine for someone to become pregnant and take hypothyroid medication while pregnant as well as completely safe for any babies.
Just continue to pray that God will continue to heal my body and give me the strength to get through the changes that are now taking place with my body. I know I was never going to stay a size 2 for the rest of my life, but sometimes I get a little disappointed at times. I need your prayers and support!
Thanks for all of you who have been praying for me and David as well. He has had to put up with my crazy mood swings for the last 6 months. (Poor guy)! Love you honey!

Happy New Year!!!
Well I have finally decided to get back to writing. I get on this everyday, but then feel like I have nothing to say. I guess that's how my entire New Years has been so far. Not much has gone on since it started. We are both back to the same routine of work. Not that I don't mind it, routine is good for me. It keeps me focused and always knowing what I have to do next. My student's were surprisingly good this first week back. I'm so happy!!! Water polo is going well. We are starting back to our water polo games as well; 2 next week and then 3 the following week. I can't believe how fast the season is going by. It seems like it just started and it will be over for me in about a month. Time flies by when you're having fun. David is still with AMR but starts a new shift on the 19th. He will be working Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. It will be great spending the night and weekends together again like a "normal" couple. With his new schedule, it will allow us to go to Bible Study with our church; we are both super stoked.
Other than that, everything is the same. Samson and Delilah are still as crazy as ever, yet so much fun. I go to the doctors on the 26th of January for the latest results of my graves' disease. And that's about it. Please continue to pray that God is healing my body. I feel good, but the prayer is very much appreciated!
